SeaTech Solutions plays a leading role in the Green Transition with several pioneering designs for Vessels to supply alternative green fuels as bunkers solidifying Singapore’s role as an innovation hub in sustainable maritime solutions. These cutting-edge designs have Approval In Principle (AIP) from RINA and ABS who conducted a comprehensive HAZID to ensure optimal safety, performance, and operational reliability. Jointly with the operators , safety philosophies and procedures for the safe use of ammonia as cargo and as fuel in the engine room have been developed to ensure compliance with the International Maritime Organization’s interim guidelines for the safety of ships using ammonia as fuel, approved by the Maritime Safety Committee 109 in December 2024.
