Singapore’s first dual-fuel methanol bunker tanker - Proudly designed by SeaTech Solutions International (S) Pte. Ltd. (SSI).

Marking a significant step towards greener maritime operations, SSI celebrates the launch of the Maya Cosulich.

Conceptualised and designed by SSI’s in-house naval architecture and engineering team, Maya Cosulich exemplifies the company’s proven capabilities in developing advanced, future-ready solutions for the maritime industry. The chemical Type 2 tanker is purpose-built for methanol bunkering operations, featuring a diesel-electric propulsion system integrated with battery technology to optimise fuel efficiency and significantly reduce emissions.

The vessel’s design and engineering were developed in full compliance with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) methanol bunkering standards, making Maya Cosulich the first methanol dual-fuel bunker tanker to operate in the Port of Singapore. The vessel will soon commence service, setting a new benchmark for the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible delivery of alternative marine fuels.
