For SSI, the MP Wind Archer marks an important milestone in elevating next-generation offshore vessel design in the region. Purpose-built for the demanding conditions of the Taiwan Strait, this DP2-class hybrid-battery Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) exemplifies how thoughtful engineering can directly enhance operational performance.

Today, the vessel continues to deliver exceptional results in offshore operations. Its hybrid-battery propulsion system has achieved a 15–20% reduction in carbon emissions, contributing meaningfully to lower fuel consumption and supporting greener offshore activities. As one of the first CSOVs of its kind constructed in Asia, the MP Wind Archer sets an important benchmark for future developments in the sector.
